Poster Project
Due Date is October 15th or sooner
The assignment is to decorate a poster representing College Week or Hispanic Heritage month. You can draw, print, cut and paste, paint etc. I am looking for the poster to have color and effort, but also give the reader/audience some information (at least three facts) about either the college or the Hispanic culture. As added bonus points you can bring a Latin America inspired dish for the class to sample ( but this is not required).
So much of our American culture is influenced from the lives of great Latin Americans. In addition, our goal is to encourage all student to pursue a vocational school, college, university or military service after high school. In MISD, we believe that graduating high school is just the beginning! Choose your poster and then share your ideas for the school to see.
Here are some links to some sites that will help you on your project:

You can also google famous Hispanic soccer players, artists, wrestlers, etc. You can do a poster on cultural food, music, art, dress etc. Anything about the culture will be acceptable, so find what interests you and then research and share.
College Information websites:

The best idea is to choose a college, military branch, vocational school or university of your choice and research some facts about it. Share what you learned in the poster!
