2013-2014 Will Be A Great Year!
About the Teacher:
My name is Mrs. Tyndall and this will be my 12th year to teach! I taught 3rd grade for five years and this will be my seventh year to teach 5th grade. I have been at Galloway for ten years and yes I do feel old. Last year, we had 100% pass the Reading STAAR...95% pass the Math and 88% pass the Science. I expect even more this year! The key is staying for tutoring, asking for help and turning in your work...it won't be easy, but it will be worth it!!
My husband is a police officer and he is also a teacher at Brookhaven Community College. He graduated from Texas State and then received his Masters Degree from North Texas.
We both attended Mesquite schools growing up. He went to Lawrence, Vanston and North Mesquite. I went to Kimball, Vanston and Poteet. All of our family, including ourselves, live in Mesquite.
I graduated from The University of Texas and then earned my Masters from Texas A&M-Commerce. I enjoy reading magazines, playing Candy Crush, browsing iphone apps and exercising. I play soccer on a coed team and will be running a half marathon in November.
We currently attend CLife church in Sunnyvale and 24 Hour Fitness in Mesquite. My husband and I also enjoy the beach and scuba diving.
Our Dogs:
We have two dogs that are puggles. Anna is seven and Izzy is eight. Both are pretty bad, but we love them anyway. Izzy is the fatter one because she loves to eat and Anna is the troublemaker, but she is so cute.
Introducing Callen Ryan!
We adopted our son in December and we were there the day he was born! It is an open adoption which means we keep in touch with his birthparents. Callen is amazing and was the missing piece to our family. He is a gift from God and such a happy boy. He is now crawling, rolling over everywhere, lifting up on things and beginning to say words. You will see him a lot because he has my heart.
My Family:
Callen's cousins
My mom, dad, brother, sister in law, niece and baby Callen only five days old!

Amazing how fast 8 months goes! Looking forward to a great year with some awesome students!
